Seven lawyers booked for getting licences on fake degrees
The Punjab Bar Council (PBC) had a case registered against seven lawyers for obtaining licences on fake degrees.
The PBC Disciplinary Committee heard complaints against lawyers including Saleem Akhtar, Ghulam Murtaza Shah, Nadeem Imran, Shaukat Aziz, Amir Murtaza, Shahzad Babar and Javed for obtaining licences through fake degrees.
After enquiry, the committee found the lawyers guilty and cancelled their licences. The committee also had a case registered against the lawyers at the Islampura Police Station.
