Imran Abbas’s fans are eagerly waiting for release of Muzzafar Ali’s Raqs but director has not finalized the cast yet. Reportedly, Bina Kay, the cute mother of Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya has roped in for a courtesan’s role in a movie.
Kay will make a comeback in films after a gap of five years. She was busy with her political career and put her acting passion on side for some time. But she is back again and all thrilled for her role, she said, “I am playing a revolutionary courtesan in the film. Her name is Mushtari and she is a strong woman of her times.”
It will be entertaining to see her sharing screen with Abbass, the heartthrob of our nation. We love Kay as adorable amma of Salman Khan in MPKK and I am sure her jodi with Abbas will also be a hit.
Abbas is playing a Nawab’s role in film alongside fashion stylist and costume designer Pernia Qureshi as his love interest.
Coming to Raqs, the director has given special attention to minute details in the movie to make it aesthetically pleasant. If you are interested in royal drama then Raqs is a must watch for you with lavish sets and alluring attires. To give a more realistic touch to film, Ali is planning to capture one of the scenic places in Rajasthan.
According to media reports, around 80 of the film has been completed and it is expected to release on Independence Day.
