Shahbaz accuses Imran of ‘ball tempering’

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders on Sunday lashed out at the “anti-government” rallies being taken out by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Awami Muslim League (AML) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) in the federal capital city today.

Addressing reporters during a seminar on the freedom of press, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said the rallies were against the country’s development and requested PTI Chairman Imran Khan to have mercy on the people.

Terming the rally as ‘ball tampering’, he said, Imran Khan was staging the rally against the democratic government. The Punjab CM urged PAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri to settle in Pakistan.
