Robbers break into Talat Hussain’s house

Senior journalist Syed Talat Hussain was robbed on Monday.

Hussain informed via twitter that an “armed dacoity and car-jacking” took place at his house on Monday.

He tweeted, “Armed dacoity and car-jacking at my place, car broken.”

Hussain was not at his place at the time of robbery and no harm has been done to his family as he messaged on Twitter, “Wife, children safe. I was teaching at Bahria at that time.”

He also complained of bad traffic situation in the capital city and accused a private company for digging up the whole metropolis.

“I still haven’t reached home. Thanks to Sharif construction company. The whole city is dug up. What a mess,” he said via Twitter.

The security conditions of Pakistan are not at all satisfactory. Nobody is safe in the country.

The United Nations (UN) has recently declared Pakistan as the most dangerous country for journalists.

As per UN reports, over 2000 journalists were attacked physically and received threats in 2013. While 71 journalists were killed and 826 were sent to prison last year.
