Weather turned pleasant after rain lashed the twin cities on Monday.
Giving the much-needed respite, the rain which started late on Sunday night led to drop in mercury by several degrees in the twin cities.
According to the Water and Power Ministry, the electricity demand has decreased with pleasant weather after rain. The much-awaited rain provided relief to the heat and load shedding-hit citizens.
