“There is no threat to democratic system from PTI’s protest,” said Qureshi.
Qureshi said that his party was longing for transparent electoral process.
Meanwhile, caravans of PTI workers started pouring in Islamabad’s D.Chowk square from various cities of the country to join a major rally against irregularities in last years’ general elections.
Large numbers of PTI’s activists, including women, have gathered at the venue.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan will present a charter of demands to reform electoral process and to investigate alleged rigging in last year’s elections.
