Activists of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and police clashed outside Punjab Assembly when the PAT’s rally was going past the assembly, a private news channel reported Sunday.

The clash erupted over PAT workers carrying items for setting up a stage and police denying them permission.

Activists of PAT were passing by the assembly building carrying items to form a stage, when a few workers had an altercation with police.

Police initially denied them permission but later they allowed. The situation was soon brought under control from both the sides.

Reports are being received that police are misleading and quarrelling with PAT activists in Lahore over different pretexts.

  1. I dont understand why newspapers do not disclose what is truth and false. PAT conducted the rallied nearly 60 places and with nearly few million people and many other community people attended a bit late due to interfere of Police. police got instructions from government to stop peaceful protesters. Every one knows how the current government put the country in dark place. In 1 year current government borrowed 52000 Arab dollars on interest base and cheated people.
