Indian forces posted at Line of Control (LoC) resorted to unprovoked firing at Bhattal sector last night.
According to military sources, Pakistani troops responded effectively to Indian firing, silencing guns of the opponents.
Sources said no loss of life and damage to property was reported, while Pakistan had lodged protest with Indian authorities.
