PTI’s Secretary Information Andleeb Abbas said on Friday that the government was harassing PTI workers.
Addressing a press conference, she said, “They have started randomly arresting PTI workers in ModelTown. The police raided the houses of 500 workers and told them to stay away from any political activity for the next one week or they may be arrested.”
She said that the government had also threatened transporters not to provide buses and wagons for the rally.
ILF Punjab President Mehar Fayaz said that in Rajanpur and Jhelum the PML-N had not only arrested the PTI workers but had also threatened them that terrorists had planned to attack the rally on May 11.
