A decision has been taken to build modern shields or protective walls from beginning to end of the Metro Bus route instead of grills.
According to details, an important decision has been taken regarding the Rs 46 billion project of Metro Bus that grills will not be used from beginning to end so that impression built with regard to Lahore Metro bus project is not created in Rawalpindi Islamabad Metro Bus project.
The reason behind this decision is the criticism done by several leaders on metro bus especially former chief minister and deputy prime minister Chaudary Pervaiz Elahi and PTI Chairman Imran Khan who used the word of grill for propaganda due to which its real image was blurred therefore it has been decided to use modern shields or walls which will be built by cement or bricks or it will be built with fiber material.
