- Punjab govt cancels holidays of emergency service employees and law enforcers due to PTI-PAT sit-in on Sunday
The Punjab government has cancelled the holidays of all the emergency services employees and law enforcers due to the sit-in of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Awami Tehreek on May 11.
According to sources, the government took this step keeping in view the law and order situation to overcome any emergency.
The commissioners, DCOs, DPOs and other law enforcement departments have been directed to arrange security arrangements in their districts and prepare themselves to deal with any threat.
Beside this, due to the sit-in call on May 11 in Islamabad, check posts will be established on all link points of Motorway to check all the cars.
According to police sources, the Interior Ministry has directed to take full checking of all the passengers traveling to Rawalpindi Islamabad on passenger cars, private cars and other commercial cars. In this regard, check posts have been established on all the link points of Motorway.
