No holiday for emergency services, law enforcers on 11th owing to PTI, PAT sitin
The Punjab government has cancelled the holidays of all the emergency services employees and law enforcers due to the sit in of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) on May 11.
According to the sources, the Punjab government took this step keeping in view the law and order situation to overcome any emergency situation.
The commissioners, DCOs, DPOs and other law enforcement departments of the whole province have been directed to arrange fool proof security arrangements in their districts and prepare themselves to deal with any threat.
Moreover, due to the call of sit in on May 11 in Islamabad Police checkposts will be established on all link points of motorway these posts will check all the cars moving to motorway and after checking they will be allowed to travel on motorway.
According to police sources the Interior Ministry has directed to take full checking of all the passengers traveling to Rawalpindi Islamabad on passenger cars, private cars and other commercial cars. In this regard check posts of police have been established on all the link points of motorway and these check posts will start working from May 10.
