KARACHI
The Sindh government has decided to restore power subsidy for the Karachi Water Board and WASA, Hyderabad, suspended since 1992.
This was decided in a meeting chaired by the Sindh CM, attended by Local Bodies Minister Sharjeel Memon, Advisor for Finance Murad Ali Shah, local govt and finance secretaries, HDA and MD WASA.
The meeting decided to set up Operation & Maintenance Head to activate water drainage system across the province.
