Pakistan has successfully test-fired the ballistic missile Hatf-III on Thursday.
According to reports, the surface to surface ballistic missile can carry nuclear and conventional warheads to a range of 290 kilometers.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif and Lt General Zubair Mehmood Hayyat witnessed the demonstration and congratulated the nation on the successful first flight of the nuclear capable Hatf-III missile.

Hatf I is a subsonic battlefield range ballistic missile (BRBM) which entered service with the Pakistan Army in the early 1990s. It is deployed as an artillery rocket and has been replaced by the improved Hatf-IA and Hatf-IB, which have a maximum range of approximately 100 km.
