Toyota “Future Dream Car” award ceremony held


The second award ceremony of the 8th Annual Toyota Dream Car Art Contest was held in Karachi. The Toyota Dream Car Art Contest is a global Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) initiative held every year among schoolchildren, worldwide. The purpose behind this initiative is to promote art and to create opportunities for children to express their creative imagination through art by drawing a “Future Dream Car”.

The event hosted 3,257 entries from schools in the southern region of Pakistan. Besides a large number of schools, special children from vocational schools also participated in the Contest. The Toyota Dream Car Art Contest comprises a series of three regional events with the first held in Islamabad, second in Karachi and the third to be held in Lahore.

The artworks of the participating children were displayed at the event, showcasing the immense talent and imagination of the participating children.

The chief guests at the award ceremony included Akira Ouchi, the Consul General of Japan in Karachi and Rahat Kazmi, renowned actor, professional speaker and academician. Also present on the occasion were the senior management of Indus Motor Company (IMC).
