At least two people were killed and another injured in a bomb explosion on Tuesday at Miranshah’s main bazaar.
According to reports, unidentified men had planted a high intensity improvised explosive devise (IED) in the market’s car parking.
According to officials, two people were killed on the spot when the IED blew up whereas one injured person was shifted to a local hospital. Two vehicles were also destroyed
So far, no one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Meanwhile, an alleged suicide bomber was killed when his explosives went off during a search operation at Javed Abad Dera Ismael Khan in the early hours of Tuesday. Two accomplices of the alleged suicide bomber succeeded in escape. The killed alleged militant was identified as Naseebullah Mehsud.
