Frontier Corps (FC) personnel on Monday claimed to have killed 10 militants in Balochistan’s troubled Panjgur district.
Khan Wasey, a spokesman of the para-military force, said that the FC launched an operation against miscreants involved in targeted killings and bomb explosions in the mountainous areas of Panjgur.
He said ten suspected militants were killed whereas three FC soldiers were seriously wounded during the operation.
“Both sides used advanced weapons during the two-hour-long exchange of fire,” said Wasey.
The FC personnel also claimed to have destroyed three suspected militant hideouts and two vehicles.
