Former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gillani said he had previously told Imran Khan about plotters of rigging in the May-11 general elections, a private news channel reported on Sunday.

Gillani further endorsed Khan’s allegations of rigging in May-11 general elections last year.

He said institutions must work within the domain; otherwise it will lead to clash among institutions.

Gillani said all stakeholders must realise their responsibilities and work on hammering out a solution to problems.

Earlier on Friday, Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan had said Jang and Geo group was involved in rigging the May 11 general elections under a pre-meditated conspiracy.

The PTI chief had also announced to boycott Geo-Jang group on account of its alleged involvement in influencing general elections that were held on May 11, 2013.
