Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has chaired a monthly Corps Commanders’ Conference in which the overall internal and external security situation of the country was discussed.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), corps commanders and principal officers were present in the meeting.
The conference was part of routine monthly meetings.
Various professional matters of the military were discussed in the meeting. The participants also reviewed the security situation of the country.
The peace process with Tehreek e Taliban militants was also discussed in the meeting.
