Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Asif Sandila called on President Mamnoon Hussain Friday and exchanged views over the professional matters of Pakistan Navy.
Sources said the naval chief briefed the president about maritime security environment in Pakistan’s neighbourhood and preparedness of Pakistan Navy to meet the emerging challenges.
The naval chief assured the president that the naval arm was fully prepared to defend the vital maritime interests of the country.
