Elia Viviani (Cannondale) claimed a bunch sprint from Mark Cavendish (Omega Pharma-QuickStep) to take stage five of the Tour of Turkey.
Kristian Sbaragli completed the podium; while Rein Taaramae retained his six-second advantage in the general classification as both he and second-placed Adam Yates (Orica-GreenEdge) finished safely in the bunch.
