Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday said that his party would take to streets on May 11 to strengthen democracy.
Interacting with reporters, the PTI head dispelled the impression that his party was on the lookout for mid-term elections in the country. “We have made no such demand. Nothing can destabilise democracy now,” he commented.
He insisted that massive election fraud was carried out on May 11.
“There is no use of conducting rigged elections. Democracy does not last in the third world because of election fraud,” he added.
The PTI chief said that 400 cases were pending before election tribunals, but no action was taken.
To a question, he said it seemed that it was a government of brothers.
