Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has pointed out to the conflict of interest in the appointment of Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Najam Sethi, saying that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government had bestowed the chairmanship to Jang Group’s Sethi for fixing “35 punctures” in last year’s general election.

“In return, Sethi as PCB chairman favored his employer Geo News by “snatching” cricket tournaments’ broadcasting rights worth Rs 10 billion from Pakistan Television (PTV) for Geo Super sports channel.

Reiterating his reservations on the May 2013 elections, he said that his party had issued a 2,100-page white paper on four constituencies, demanding an audit. However, he regretted that justice was not delivered.

Accusing “everyone” of being a party in rigging elections, the skipper went on to saying that former chief justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry was also involved in rigging the elections.

  1. Please watch Hamid Mir's interview dated 3/25/2013 on youtube. Decide for yourself if he is a patriot or a traitor for asking Bangladesh to put Pakistan Army officers on trial for crimes they may have committed against Bengalis. In any other country, he would have been dead by now. Too bad he escaped this time.
