KARACHI-
A college principal on Tuesday resigned from his post in protest of pressure over him to allow cheating during college exams, a private news channel reported.
According to the report, Fazal Mehmood; Principal of S. M Arts and Commerce College was being pressurised to allow malpractice and cheating during the annual exams.
Sources add that Mehmood had declined to do so and upon increased pressure from certain groups, he resigned from his post.
The regional directorate has taken notice of the event and has sought a report.
Congratulations to this professor for having something that is sorely lacking in Pakistan…integrity…bravo to this educator for standing up to corruption…those who were pressuring him to allow cheating should be identified and removed…glad to see there is at least one honest man in the country…
It is shameful for the govt. to let such thing happen/
