Case registered against 2,000 anti-load shedding protesters

Police has registered a case against 2,000 persons for ransacking the office of power utility in Larkana, a private news channel reported on Tuesday.

Angry people, who were protesting against unscheduled long power outages before the office of SEPCO during scorching summer of northern Sindh in Larkana, ransacked the office of the power utility and burnt the office.

Civil Lines police station of the town has registered case against 2,000 protesters for damaging public property and intimidating government employees.

The angry residents of Nazar Mohalla of Larkana had attacked the power utility office with sticks and pelted stones.

The employees of the power utility have announced to stage a sit-in protest against the attack.
