Residents of Faisalabad protested against unavailability and shortage of gas on Monday.
According to reports, angry protesters threw stones on textile factories and at Jaranwala Road, demanding smooth supply of gas at their homes. They claimed the textile mills were using all the gas supply for the city due which they could not receive enough gas pressure for domestic uses.
“Gas shortage has caused great trouble for us as we are unable to cook anything to eat,” one of the female protesters said.
The protesters included a large number of women and children also chanting slogans against the authorities.
