Successful Hajj applicants names to be annouced within a month
The names of 56,684 successful Hajj applicants of Government Scheme would be announced within a month, said an official of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.
Talking to APP, he said the computerization of 125,000 Hajj applicants have already been started.
This year, he said, formula of `First-come First-served’ was being followed to ensure transparency in the entire process.
The religious affairs ministry had started receiving applications through designated bank branches across the country from April 21. But, the applications have exceeded the quota on the same day. The names of first 56,684 successful candidates would be announced within a month.
The ministry had initiated the process of acquiring 145,000 vaccines of influenza, meningitis and other viral diseases.
