Pakistani embassy in Afghanistan on Sunday reaffirmed that all projects initiated by Pakistan in Afghanistan would be completed on priority bases.
A statement by the embassy in Kabul refuted media reports claiming that Pakistan-funded projects in Afghanistan were abandoned.
“Pakistan is committed to complete all its projects in Afghanistan including Torkham-Jalalabad Road, Rehman Baba School Hostel, Jinnah Hospital in Kabul, Aminullah Logari Hospital in Logar and Nishtar Kidney Centre in Jalalabad,” the statement added.
Pakistan, the statement said, had already completed a number of projects such as Rahman Baba School, Engineering Faculty in Mazar Sharif and Allama Iqbal Faculty of Humanities in Kabul University and Sir Syed Post Graduate Faculty in Nangarhar University.
In addition, the statement highlighted that Pakistan was also providing 3,000 scholarships to Afghan students for study in professional colleges and universities of the country.
