Some commentators and writers have pointed out that the Hamid Mir’s killers did not want to kill him but wanted to frighten him, that’s why they did not go for headshots. The argument is humbug. Pumping six bullets in the body surely meant to kill him, not merely frighten him. A single bullet even grazing his heart would have killed him instantly. Moreover, pistol shots at the moving target are never accurate; therefore, the shooter could not have placed his shots away from the vitals intentionally. It’s just that the Almighty wanted Hamid to live to uphold the lost human causes that he had been doing, hence the lease of life to him. The whole saga has instilled both fear and anger in the public: anger at those who committed the most heinous crime and fear to realise how unsafe the people are at the hands of merciless murderers. In whose hands shall I find my blood since everyone is wearing gloves? I could go on but I fear for the lives of my family.

I am no fan of Hamid Mir, but nobody has a right to kill somebody. What has happened us shameful, to say the least. May Almighty give some sanity to those who are at helm.
It is a shame that we are discussing these petty things. There is no greater shame than this idiotic exchange. The terrorists wanted to kill him , but he has luckily survived. He should thank Allah for the new life.
Let us not fan these ridiculous stories and give credence to such narratives. Best thing is to pray for his speedy recovery.
Allah Hamid mir ko sehat di
Who is this man Hamid Mir? Is he the one who denied his tapped conversation with Talibaan that led to the killing of Col Imam and Khawaja? Oh I am so sorry to hear that.
He got away this time. next time he may not be that lucky. He is a traitor.
