Two parks, two cricket stadiums coming your way

Parks and Horticulture Agency (PHA) has approved upgradation of four parks, and construction of two new parks and two cricket stadiums in Rawalpindi. The projects will cost Rs 450 million to the agency.

A park for special children with modern recreational facilities, SirajiaPark, at four kanals of land on Saidpur Road will be built at the cost of Rs 15 million.

NawazSharifPark will be renovated in Shamsabad at the cost of Rs 300 million and will have gym, swimming pool, swings and jogging track among other facilities. Another park will be built on Rawal Road near the airport at the cost of Rs 80 million.

Similarly, the park situated in commercial market will be upgraded and a commercial parking plaza for 400 vehicles will be constructed at the basement of the park.  The construction of one of the stadiums will be started in first week of May.
