In a rare public address after being indicted in the high treason case, former president Pervez Musharraf said everyone should first think about Pakistan.
He was addressing the participants of a rally taken out by All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) workers at Do Talwaar in Clifton area of Karachi on the telephone.
Musharraf said Pakistan was passing through a tough phase, reiterating what he did was in favour of Pakistan and with the utmost of sincerity.
“You are witnessing whatever is going on in courts,” he said, adding that it was a tough phase which he will endure with courage.
Amid his address, participants of the rally kept chanting slogans in his favour. The ex-president thanked the party workers and other participants for attending the rally.
