A woman was set on fire by her daughter’s suitor and his family after she spurned a proposal on Thursday.
The incident occurred in Makhan Bela, a native area of Muzaffargarh, where 35-year-old Farhat Batool rejected the proposal of her 13-year-old daughter Tahira. The would-be in-laws got raged and they set Farhat on fire. She was shifted to a hospital in critical condition. The victim is a mother of four children.
