4 bullet-riddled bodies discovered near Dhabeji

Four bodies of men bearing bullet wounds were found from the vicinity of Dhabeji police station in Thatta early Monday morning.

The bodies of the victims were shifted to a hospital for medico-legal formalities, however, the deceased could not be identified. The victims were wearing shalwar kameez and beard. “The victims are four young men between the ages of 30 and 35. There are marks of bullet injuries and torture on the bodies,” a police official told media.

He said the victims, who could not be identified immediately, might have been killed somewhere else and later the killers dumped their bodies in the local market located in limits of Dhabeji police station.

The dead bodies were shifted to Makli civil hospital for medico-legal formalities. Meanwhile, two gang war accused were arrested during a police raid on a godown in Baghdadi area of Lyari on Sunday night. Police also arrested an extortionist from Azizabad area. Meanwhile, the bomb disposal squad diffused a bomb found outside the residence of a trader in Bahadarabad area.

According to police officials, two kilogram bomb was planted outside the house of the trader who was getting threats from extortionists. Police also arrested three people from Mochko area for allegedly smuggling diesel from Iran.
