PM addresses PMA passing-out parade, promises to provide all possible resources to army for defence

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday addressed the passing-out parade of the 129th Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Long Course at Kakul Academy, a private news channel reported.

During his address, the PM said that the armed forces are backed by the whole nation, adding that the country’s defence could not be made impregnable without wiping out terrorism and strengthening the national economy.

He said that the government is responsible to equip its armed forces with modern technology and would provide all possible resources to make the national defence invincible.

PM Sharif advised the young soldiers to stay fully dedicated to their profession and not refrain to sacrifice in service to the motherland.

The Premier told them to keep the ideals of army officers such as the Army Chief General Raheel Sharif and his brother Major Shabbir Sharif Shaheed.

He congratulated the cadets on the completion of their military training.

PM Sharif the spectacular parade of the young cadets which was carried on despite rain.

Senior serving and retired army officials, cabinet ministers and families of the young cadets were also present at the event.

It is also mentionable that seven of the young passed-out cadets hail from Palestine and Bahrain.

  1. This is the beginning of a new era in the Army when the new generation is entering after the Dictatorships and Military intrusions are history and the "Billa" is soon going to be punished for high treason.

    It is great to see that the history is being corrected in Pakistan.
