LAHORE-
Six suspected target killers involved in killing of high-profile personalities were arrested by Lahore police, officials said on Friday.
CCPO Lahore Chaudhry Shafiq Ahmed, speaking at a press conference, said that a special police team held the target killers network involved in assassination of famous personalities and other criminal activities over a period of six months.
The suspects, added the CCPO, have confessed of 18 killings and murder attempts on Shamsur Rehman, Shakir Ali Rizvi, Dr Syed Ali Haider, Khurram Raza Qadri, Allama Nasir Abbas, Asghar Nadeem Syed and Raza Rumi.
The investigations are still underway and we hope to make new discoveries along the way, added the CCPO.
