Society for Human Rights & Prisoners Aid (SHARP) organised a one-day training workshop on Human & Refugee Rights in the Light of Relevant Laws and Notifications” for police officials at Police Training College Chung.
SHARP Field Manager Zainab Jafri gave a brief introduction and mandate of SHARP. She welcomed the participants enthusiastically.
Quaid e Azam Law College Professor Salman Kazmi gave a comprehensive presentation on human rights in the light of UDHR and Pakistan Constitution 1973.
UNHCR Associate Protection Officer Ghazala Mirza gave a lecture on refugee rights along with presentation on conventions and notifications.
Chung PTC Commandant Ahmed Mubarak Ahmed highly appreciated the efforts of SHARP for organizing such an informative and wonderful training workshop.
Zainab Raza Jafri concluded the workshop and thanked the trainees for participating in this workshop. At the end certificates were distributed among the participants.
