*Hamza Shahbaz says democracy facing no threats
Democracy has no threats as its roots are getting strong enough to be able to stand in the future, said Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz while talking to journalists on Thursday.
Hamza Shahbaz said that all institutions of the country must be strengthened, adding that the democracy is the only way to move forward.
He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif wants to restore peace in the country by peaceful means as progress and development is not possible without durable peace in Pakistan.
The National Assembly member said dialogue process with the Taliban was a complicated procedure but the PML-N government is handling things with more care so that the country may witness long lasting peace and prosperity.
Hamza Shahbaz further said that we can not afford any violence and disability in the country.
He said our brave army is fighting in front line against terrorists but we can not allow them to be killed by these extremists.
On query about Nawaz and Zardari meeting, Hamza said this is the beauty of democracy that old political rival can sit together to strengthen the democratic system.
He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had gone to Imran Khan residence for consultation over matter of terrorism which reflects his determination.
