Governor feels everything is fine!

*Chaudhry Sarwar says no threat to democracy, all institutions working with in constitutional limits

There is no threat to democracy in the country and all national institutions are working within their constitutional limits, said Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar while talking to journalists after his meeting with a delegation of lawyers which called on him at the Governor House on Wednesday.

Chaudhry Sarwar said that eliminating menace of terrorism and to end energy crisis are among the top priorities of the incumbent Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) led government.

He said that independence of judiciary and provision of speedy, inexpensive justice to the public is key to further strengthen the democracy and democratic institutions of the country.

The governor said that all national institutions hold equal importance to the government as they are base of the country’s economy.

Responding a question regarding meeting of ex-president Asif Ali Zardari with Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif, he said that it was part of routine meetings of political leaders of the country and not aimed at discussing any secret agenda or issue.
