Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHF) Director General (DG) Waqas Ali Mahmood has taken notice regarding encroachments over foundation’s land in Karachi and said that stern action would be taken against the encroachers.
The meeting was headed by the Director General, FGE Housing Foundation regarding housing projects in Karachi, was held in which the matters related to different projects were discussed.
He said that government property should not be used for private purpose and added that people involved in these kinds of activities would not be tolerated.
Project Director Naseemul Haq Malik appraised the overall development position of the Housing Schemes in Karachi. Directors of the housing foundation also attended the meeting.
The project director said that FGEHF has allotted 54 acres of land for the project at D-A-33 scheme for federal government employees in which plots and flats of different categories were allotted to the employees.
He added that four hundred flats were constructed at said project and 278 flats have also been allotted to the eligible people and development work at remaining 128 flats is underway.
The DG ordered that development work should be expedited to complete the project as early as possible.
