Gas supply has been disconnected to fire services department of Capital Development Authority (CDA) and employees residing in the residential rooms affiliated with this department due to nonpayment of bill by the respective quarters.
SUI Northern had disconnected the supply of gas to fire services department and 150 employees who are residing along with their families in the quarters linked to this department due to nonpayment of previous month gas bill two weeks before.
Sources said that the deduction on account of utility bills are being made from the pay bills of the employees regularly but due to negligence of concerned office the bill has not been paid and their supply has also been sundered.
The fire services Sui gas bill stood at Rs 223,000 for the month of March but only Rs 53,000 were paid.
