Robbers looted Rs 1.5 million from a private bank near Chakra Goth situated in Korangi on Tuesday morning despite the ongoing targeted operation against criminals by police and Rangers.
According to police, five robbers entered a bank and made the bank staff hostage on gunpoint and looted 1.5 million rupees and fled from the scene. Bank security guard did not show any resistance, police added.
The police registered a case against the robbers and started investigation into the matter. It is pertinent to mention here that it was 13th robbery in the metropolis.
