ISLAMABAD
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has told the Islamabad High Court (IHC) that help is being sought from Interpol for bringing back to Pakistan from abroad the woman accused in girls trafficking case.
A single-bench of the IHC comprising Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui took up for hearing the girls smuggling case on Monday.
Advocate Zulfiqar Bhutta appeared in the court on behalf of the petitioners. FIA inspector Ajmal while filing reply in the court told that action has been initiated against the accused persons including Ashfaq. Legal proceedings are underway for placing the names of the accused persons in the ECL.
The court was also told that assistance from Interpol is being sought for bringing back to country from abroad the woman accused in this case.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case until April 29.
