City to have parks for special persons, women and senior citizens

ISLAMABAD

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced to construct 3 new parks in different sectors of federal capital.
Swings and benches will be installed in these parks besides carving walking tracks for the citizens. Arrangements will also be made to provide news paper reading facility to the citizens.
CDA member environment Sanaullah Aman said decision has been taken to create 3 new parks to extend recreational facilities to the residents of Islamabad. A Ladies park will be built in F-10/1 to provide health environment to the ladies. This park will be allocated for women only and entry of males will be banned. Chairman CDA Maroof Afzal will inaugurate this park on April 22. Another park for special persons will be built near Kachnar Park.
Senior Citizens Park will be built in sector F-6/2 for senior citizens. Sitting arrangements for the senior citizens will be made therein by installing benches. This park will be inaugurated on April, 28.
