Some armed men killed a 50-years old woman as she came out of the court after meeting her son-in-law on Friday.
A five-year-old child girl accompanying her was also critically injured. The assailants opened fire on Nassema Chandio when she came out after meeting her son-in-law, Khalid Joyo, who went to the court for pursuing his case. Police handed over Naseema’s body to her relatives after post-mortem. Talking to media, husband of the deceased, Usman Chandio, alleged that a constable Zulfiqar alias Kala and his son, Zubair Bhatti, had killed his wife over an old enmity. On the other hand, SHO City Adam Khan Abro informed that Amjad, brother of constable Zulfiqar, and former president of local press club, Sultan Mahmood Chandio, had been killed some time back due to some enmity.
