KARACHI-
The stay order against construction of Clifton flyover and underpass was suspended on Friday by the Sindh High Court (SHC), a private news channel reported.
The two-member bench of SHC comprising of Justice Aqeel Abbasi and Justice Zafar Rajput were hearing the case petitioned by Bahria Town.
The petitioner pleaded that the area for construction comes under the jurisdiction of of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation and so the petition by Defence Housing Authority (DHA) against construction of a flyover and bypass in the area does not hold ground.
The bench suspended the stay order issued earlier by Justice Munib Akhtar and adjourned the hearing until April 22.
