President Mamnoon Hussain Thursday signed an ordinance to rename the FederalJudicialAcademy as Centre of Excellence for Law and Judicial Education and grant it the status of degree awarding institution.
The president signed FederalJudicialAcademy (Amendment) Ordinance 2014 on the advice of the prime minister.
The Ordinance would also help enhances its functions to offer programmes for the study of law specialised courses in specific disciplines and judicial education and training.
