Non-payment of salaries to the employees of PML-N central secretariat since last three months here has caused embarrassment among them.
PML-N central secretariat is functioning in a building owned by party MNA Dr Tariq Chaudhry for the last 14 years.
Payment of salary was regularly made to the employees during the period PML-N stayed out of power. Telephone of central secretariat has gone one way since one week due to lack of funds and hawkers have suspended distribution of news papers due to non clearance of their bills.
No system for disbursement of salary and expenses has been evolved by the ruling party for its secretariat employees ever since it has stepped into corridors of power.
Most of the employees are serving in the secretariat since the last 15 to 25 years and they perform their duties round the clock.
The employees remained deprived of the salary on the eve of Eidul Fitr. They have demanded of the party central leadership to intervene in the matter and ensure immediate disbursement of salary to them.
