A woman Tuesday survived an acid attack in Multan Road precincts.
Rescue sources said that two motorcyclists threw acid at a married woman at Multan Road and sped away. Resultantly, the woman sustained wounds and was rushed to the hospital where according to hospital sources, almost quarter of her body has been scorched.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the incident and has directed the police to arrest the culprits and present a report within 24 hours.
The police have registered a case against the attackers and have started raids for their arrest.
