No compromise on recovery of missing persons: SC

Justice Jawwad S Khawaja of the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) has said that the judiciary would not compromise over recovery of missing persons.

A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Justice Jawwad heard the Fahd Malik missing person case Monday.

The counsel of appellant Rafique Ahmad, Qari Abdul Rasheed apprised the court that Fahd was picked up from Muzaffargarh, praying it to ensure Fahd’s quick recovery.

Deputy Attorney General (AG) Atiq Ahmad Shah appeared before the court to whom Justice Khawaja addressed saying that several missing persons had returned to their homes, adding that, “I hope Rafique Ahmad would also be recovered soon, if not then the court can be contacted again”.

Following this, the court disposed off the case disposed off the missing person case.
