A Chinese national was found dead in his room in Chinese embassy in Pakistan’s federal capital, Islamabad, a private news channel reported Monday.
Police sources said the man, who was identified as 51-year-old Hui Chin, working as carpenter in Chinese embassy, had committed suicide by fixing a rope around his neck.
His body was sent to Islamabad’s Poly Clinic for medico-legal formalities.
The police officials, citing embassy officials, claimed that some domestic problems drove the Chinese citizen to end his life. Further investigations were underway.
